Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) continues its decided efforts to remove unlawful provision of web providers. On this regard, PTA, in coordination with the Federal Investigation Company (FIA), efficiently carried out raids in Daharki, District Ghotki and Johar City, Lahore.
The raid focused an unlawful web service supplier situated at Zafar Bazar Highway in Daharki throughout which tools of unlawful ISP was confiscated. Whereas in Lahore, operational web setup was discovered, being operated with out legitimate license. Two individuals have been taken into custody and related tools (switches/routers and many others) have been confiscated. The workplace was sealed and FIA is probing additional enquiry as per legislation.
This achievement will be attributed to PTA’s unwavering dedication, steady monitoring, and protracted efforts to curb unlawful web providers. These actions are essential in stopping tax evasion and income misreporting, thus curbing loss to the nationwide exchequer.
